The TYAC has made a huge impact in the community in its steadily-increasing history.

• We have held a BikeFest, where we taught kids the impotance of bicycle safety, and gave out helmets to kids who needed one.



• We have made two Halloween rooms at THS, one pirate-themed, and one themed "Under The Sea."



• We sponsored and held a youth summit on March 16, 2006 at Twality Middle School and have held a second and third one, renamed the THOT workshop, on March 15th, 2007 and March 13th, 2008.



• We have sponsored four blanket drives which netted over 1000 blankets for the Caring Closet, a local food and clothing bank for needy families.



• In June of 2004, we sponsored a talent showcase for local youth. Those selected to participate performed during the Tigard Festival of Balloons.



• The TYAC has been involved in numerous park cleanups.



• At Tigard's Good Neighbor Center, we have made dinner, made crafts, and played games with the residents on numerous occasions..



• In 2005, the TYAC received the We Make A Difference award for Service.
